One of Swestars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Järnforsen:s goal. Olof Lundin took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Berggren. Billy Berggren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Jonny Eriksson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Billy Berggren. In the 26th minute, Stig Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Ekman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Swestars's goalkeeper Patric Ekegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Vassenius. In the 32nd minute, Boris Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Lundin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Jonny Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swestars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Olof Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swestars's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 minutes, Olof Lundin made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Järnforsen's Billy Berggren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patric Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Mårtensson in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Mårtensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Swestars's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Möllgren came free, but Patric Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Vassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Ekegren having to interfere. Patric Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jonny Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Billy Berggren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Jonny Eriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Järnforsen's Billy Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Eriksson in the 63rd minute of play. Manfred Åman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Billy Berggren managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Swestars's Jonny Eriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Billy Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Billy Berggren made a huge save. After having played for 78 minutes, Jonny Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swestars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonny Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Billy Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Järnforsen got a freekick which was hit by Stig Ek. After 85 played minutes, Swestars's Aleksander Grönberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Billy Berggren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swestars reached it. Billy Berggren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olof Lundin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 86 minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Fredric Stigsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swestars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Stigsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Eriksson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Billy Berggren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swestars. Swestars played a much better game than Järnforsen and deserved their victory. The Järnforsen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
