Alfons Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Mikael Uter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Rob IN got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Joensson. The audience held their breath when Boris Mårtensson in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Herbert Ödman's left hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Uter made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Einar Sikström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Ödman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Billy Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Uter in the 53rd minute of play. Järnforsen's Billy Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Uter in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Järnforsen's Evert Vassenius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Ödman. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. After 63 played minutes Järnforsen got a freekick which was hit by Einar Sikström. Gottfrid Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gottfrid Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Järnforsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Evert Vassenius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herbert Ödman. Evert Vassenius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Järnforsen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Järnforsen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
