Edvin Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenny Nordgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henric Ahlkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Åberg in the 26th minute of play. Edvin Åberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Henric Ahlkvist 38 minutes into the match. Henric Ahlkvist was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Ingvar Lundgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingvar Lundgren really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edvin Åberg made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 91st minute, Ingvar Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Ahlkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny Nordgren went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vendelsömalms FC had played much better football throughout.
