An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Lundin in the 18th minute of play forced BK Carlshamn's goalkeeper Tobias Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Petersson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Swestars fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Swestars's Jonny Eriksson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonny Eriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonny Eriksson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 74th playminute. In the 77th minute, Jonny Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Beckman. BK Carlshamn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 83 minutes into the match, BK Carlshamn's goalkeeper Tobias Beckman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Lundin. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Eriksson in the 92nd minute of play. Tobias Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Swestars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BK Carlshamn.
