Thanks to some nice moves Ted Ahlbom could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Karl-Axel Martinsson however easily saved by the left post. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Veberöd from getting a goal against them. If Ralf Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ted Ahlbom notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson. Karl-Axel Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sten Högman fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deje Capitals's protests and gave Sten Högman a yellow card for diving instead. Deje Capitals:s Erik Björklund showed great skill when he stopped Orvar Jespersson:s penalty. Ted Ahlbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Karl-Axel Martinsson made a huge save. Ted Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Karl-Axel Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deje Capitals. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orvar Jespersson during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Veberöd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes Veberöd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fred Dahlkvist who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Deje Capitals's Sven Liljeström to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Axel Martinsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fred Dahlkvist hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ralf Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Mickelsson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Deje Capitals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. During the 87th minute of the match Andréas Hedin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Andréas Hedin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th match minute, Deje Capitals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Veberöd's Harry Gustavsson pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 92nd minute, Sven Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Isaksson in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deje Capitals had played much better football throughout.
