Egil Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Håkan Siöberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Andréas Jakobsson however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Hellbom in the 24th minute of play forced Cesko United FC's goalkeeper Andréas Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Kling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arild Stavrum, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Jon Sjögren came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cesko United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Sjögren couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Grangärde BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. When Edvin Beck fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grangärde BK's protests and gave Edvin Beck a yellow card for diving instead. Edvin Beck hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Johannes Ivarsson in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rickard Kling's left hand side. Andréas Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Hellbom in the 40th minute of play. Jon Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rickard Kling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 minutes, Arild Stavrum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesko United FC and the Grangärde BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Arild Stavrum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesko United FC's Andréas Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Hellbom in the 53rd minute of play. Rickard Kling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arild Stavrum in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Arild Stavrum took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Rickard Kling to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute Egil Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Egil Hellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
