The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Donja Puharska's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristo Mincho was slow to take the kick. During this time Svenskt stål UTD's players had a chance to rest. Alexander Asserlindh made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Luisito Frederik sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Asserlindh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Hård's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Alexander Asserlindh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Frederik in the 15th minute. Melker Kjellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Hård blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Asserlindh having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Sten Hård lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Alexander Asserlindh. 27 minutes into the game, Shao Xiang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svenskt stål UTD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donja Puharska the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Svenskt stål UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Xiang to maneuver through the defense. Donja Puharska's Alexander Asserlindh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Donja Puharska from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Luisito Frederik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svenskt stål UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Svenskt stål UTD's Sten Hård in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Donja Puharska's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Donja Puharska's zone, Einar Ingvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Asserlindh came out of the goal and Einar Ingvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donja Puharska's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Luisito Frederik scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Asserlindh, making the score, 4-0. 48 minutes into the match, Svenskt stål UTD's Sten Hård sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Asserlindh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Wiman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Asserlindh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Alexander Asserlindh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Hård's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to Donja Puharska getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Per Wiman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sten Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svenskt stål UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Hård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Asserlindh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Donja Puharska's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Frederik came free, but Alexander Asserlindh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Einar Ingvall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svenskt stål UTD and the Donja Puharska players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Einar Ingvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einar Ingvall kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Svenskt stål UTD were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Donja Puharska's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shao Xiang took the corner. Svenskt stål UTD's Shao Xiang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Asserlindh in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 77 minutes, Melker Kjellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenskt stål UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melker Kjellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Svenskt stål UTD's Inge Nick made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Asserlindh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Svenskt stål UTD's Shao Xiang got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alexander Asserlindh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Hård in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Sten Hård ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Asserlindh was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Alexander Asserlindh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Inge Nick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alexander Asserlindh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
