Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Ralf Wiberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Karl-Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Almqvist in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Blyth Spartans were awarded a corner. Thad Jøker went to the cornerflag to take it. Blyth Spartans's Thad Jøker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl-Axel Martinsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Vedillo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Blyth Spartans's Nestor Vedillo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th match minute, Blyth Spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Andreas Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Blyth Spartans's Thad Jøker tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Claes Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20th play minutes Claes Almqvist shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Karl-Axel Martinsson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Veberöd's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claes Almqvist in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Axel Martinsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute Claes Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Borucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Karl-Axel Martinsson made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Claes Almqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karl-Axel Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claes Almqvist to make the kick off. A collision led to Blyth Spartans getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mārtiņs Reitmanis hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Claes Almqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Axel Martinsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Karl-Axel Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hedin in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Claes Almqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blyth Spartans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claes Almqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blyth Spartans made a substitution. Laureano Cordera replaced Claes Almqvist. Karl-Axel Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Borucki came free, but Karl-Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Borucki took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Axel Martinsson. Karl-Axel Martinsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 75th minute, Laureano Cordera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blyth Spartans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Veberöd defense, Saturnino Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Axel Martinsson. The Veberöd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Axel Martinsson should have stopped the shot. Gustav Forssell scored 6-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Saturnino Valente notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson. Karl-Axel Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Valente in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Axel Martinsson saved Veberöd from getting behind. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Valente in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Vedillo in the 96th minute of play forced Veberöd's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
