Vidar Arvidsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vidar Arvidsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Olov Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Törnblom in the 9th minute of the match. Per Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Olov Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Olov Blomqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Donja Puharska's Per Wiman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Alfonso La Marca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alexander Asserlindh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Alfonso La Marca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Wiman got free with Olov Blomqvist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match, Emanuel Törnblom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olov Blomqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Jansson got free with Olov Blomqvist in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvald Klemensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Asserlindh having to interfere. Druv FC's Alfonso La Marca got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Wiman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olov Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Pabla during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per Wiman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olov Blomqvist. Druv FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Donja Puharska's zone, Alfonso La Marca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Asserlindh came out of the goal and Alfonso La Marca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Druv FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Wiman came free, but Olov Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Jansson in the 89th minute of play. Druv FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Donja Puharska's much stronger midfield.
