But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Wiman couldn't finish the play. Andréas Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Sven-Erik Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deje Capitals getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fred Dahlkvist hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Mickelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Donja Puharska's Sven-Erik Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Björklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Per Wiman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Björklund. Per Wiman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Björklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Per Wiman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. Fred Dahlkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Asserlindh. Donja Puharska's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Per Wiman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Björklund. The goal made the score 0-3. When the match was over Donja Puharska could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deje Capitals throughout the match.
