After some careless play in the Deje Capitals defense, Sverker Österberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Björklund. The Deje Capitals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Björklund should have stopped the shot. Walter Eklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Mickelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicklas Persson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Mickelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Ahlbom in the 25th minute of play forced AC Jeriko's goalkeeper Nicklas Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Mickelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Björklund having to make a save. Torgny Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Rutger Isaksson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Erik Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Eklund in the 34th minute of the match. Ted Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nicklas Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rickard Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Tham hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Eklund in the 56th minute of play forced Deje Capitals's goalkeeper Erik Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deje Capitals's Erik Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Eklund in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of AC Jeriko booed when Deje Capitals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deje Capitals's zone, Walter Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, AC Jeriko's Walter Eklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Ahlbom got free with Nicklas Persson in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ted Ahlbom took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicklas Persson. Nicklas Persson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Torsten Åhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nicklas Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Rickard Mickelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AC Jeriko's Walter Eklund in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deje Capitals's goalie prevented a goal. Nicklas Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Ahlbom in the 94th minute.
