The supporters of Vattnäs SK booed when Fethaxx United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Beckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vattnäs SK's Vilhelm Fors got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kåre Biörk hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Fethaxx United's Adam Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bjurström in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Vilhelm Fors made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fethaxx United's Adam Berggren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Fethaxx United's zone, Vilhelm Fors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Berggren came out of the goal and Vilhelm Fors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Östen Täman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vattnäs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Östen Täman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Vilhelm Fors put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Berggren. After the first half Vattnäs SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Gallberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Östen Täman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Berggren. The goal made the score 0-3. After 57 minutes, Isaac Brogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fethaxx United and the Vattnäs SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Vattnäs SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fethaxx United the free kick. Per-Arne Drake helped the player get up and apologised. Fethaxx United's Adam Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Fors in the 75th minute of play. Adam Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vilhelm Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adam Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fethaxx United defense, Östen Täman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Berggren. The Fethaxx United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Berggren should have stopped the shot. Vilhelm Fors's late challenge caught a Fethaxx United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Fors helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over Vattnäs SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fethaxx United throughout the match.
