The referee ignored Koalornas IF's protests and gave Rune Blomberg a yellow card for diving instead. Rune Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rasmus Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Robin Lidberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rasmus Ahlquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Ingmar Melin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rasmus Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tanumshede FF booed when Koalornas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Billock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Ingmar Melin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasmus Ahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 40th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jerry Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koalornas IF's Rasmus Ahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magne Larsfält in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rasmus Ahlquist saved Koalornas IF from getting behind. Ingmar Melin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
