Paquito Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Kjellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Willem-Jan Woldersgaard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jörgen Malmström having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Yacht Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Georg Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Kuse having to interfere. Yacht Club played a much better game than Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan and deserved their victory. The Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
