Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olov Ekberg got the match started through his kick off. Joacim Strömbom's late challenge caught a Bjärred FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joacim Strömbom helped the player get up and apologised. Rudolf Wållander hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Boni Suherman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gunnar Lundhberg made a huge save. In the 8th match minute, Bjärred FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Van Herck to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gunnar Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Olov Ekberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gysinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjärred FK the free kick. Bjärred FK's Evald Juráček played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Ekberg in the 33rd minute of play. Attilio Brini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gunnar Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Boni Suherman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Boni Suherman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Brini was the one to do the kick off. When Attilio Brini came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bjärred FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Brini couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Ola Granberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Brini in the 58th minute of play forced Gysinge's goalkeeper Gunnar Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gysinge's Joacim Strömbom got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Attilio Brini put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gunnar Lundhberg. Attilio Brini took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Lundhberg. Gunnar Lundhberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Kenny Lindholm in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bjärred FK's Daniel Wallmark. Kim Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes in the game Gustav Sörman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kenny Lindholm. After 84 minutes, Emanuel Hagberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gysinge and the Bjärred FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ivar Njurenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Attilio Brini came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bjärred FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Brini couldn't finish the play.
