Uno Kuse had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Benjamin Tunander's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Tunander in the 11th minute of play forced Yacht Club's goalkeeper Uno Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Gunners's Mark Blixt got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Yacht Club's Paquito Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Wallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Yacht Club's Emil Åkesson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stig Norström in the 20 minute of the game. A collision led to The Gunners getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Robin Öberg hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Yacht Club's Paquito Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Gunners's Benjamin Tunander got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Pontus Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Paquito Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yacht Club's Paquito Navarro, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Yacht Club. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paquito Navarro was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Yacht Club's Eric Lång sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Yacht Club's Uno Kuse got control of the ball when Pontus Berglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of The Gunners booed when Yacht Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Lång's late challenge caught a The Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Lång helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Yacht Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Lång to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Yacht Club defense, Pontus Berglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uno Kuse. The Yacht Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uno Kuse should have stopped the shot. Uno Kuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pontus Berglund in the 81st minute. A collision led to Yacht Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eric Lång hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Ahlbeck got free with Uno Kuse in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paquito Navarro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Wallin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Andreas Ahlbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Yacht Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Uno Kuse managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when The Gunners's Pontus Berglund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Gunners walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
