Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) Ifk Kålltorp's Hyllos Pezos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Marcus Kellberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Asopos Frangopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th match minute, Smögen RKsdfdfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Stig-Ove Björnberg's late challenge caught a Smögen RKsdfdfs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Ove Björnberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Smögen RKsdfdfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. Jon Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sten Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Kellberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Herbert Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asopos Frangopoulos having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Smögen RKsdfdfs got a freekick which was hit by Urban Ekeroth. 32 minutes into the match, Smögen RKsdfdfs's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Uter came free, but Sten Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Alf Kvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Sundberg's late challenge caught a Ifk Kålltorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. Sten Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Gunnarsson in the 42nd minute of play. Asopos Frangopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Kellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Gudmundsson got free with Asopos Frangopoulos in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sten Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Asopos Frangopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Kellberg got free with Asopos Frangopoulos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 66 minutes, Stig-Ove Björnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ifk Kålltorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Björnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asopos Frangopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asopos Frangopoulos made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Herbert Gudmundsson sent off a good shot on target. Sten Mellberg came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ifk Kålltorp's Jerry Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Jerry Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With an all-out effort, Smögen RKsdfdfs's Asopos Frangopoulos threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Kellberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Smögen RKsdfdfs's Wictor Löfgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Börje Brun in the 82 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ifk Kålltorp's zone, Benjamin Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asopos Frangopoulos came out of the goal and Benjamin Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Gunnarsson in the 86th minute of play. Jerry Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ifk Kålltorp lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
