Jan-Olof Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Bock in the 26th minute of play. Asopos Frangopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pålsson in the 28th minute of play. Elliot Stenqvist made a great header on Skarsåsen IK's corner, it was just that Ifk Kålltorp's Asopos Frangopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. Ifk Kålltorp's Asopos Frangopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ifk Kålltorp from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Bock during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Olof Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jerry Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Olof Nordström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hyllos Pezos to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tommy Abelsson fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarsåsen IK's protests and gave Tommy Abelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Gunnarsson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Olof Nordström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Pålsson in the 55th minute of play forced Ifk Kålltorp's goalkeeper Asopos Frangopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asopos Frangopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Alfred Pålsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skarsåsen IK's Jan-Olof Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Skarsåsen IK from getting a goal against them. Jan-Olof Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Gunnarsson in the 62nd minute of play. Skarsåsen IK's Jan-Olof Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Odin in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Mats Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asopos Frangopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skarsåsen IK's Jan-Olof Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Skarsåsen IK from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Skarsåsen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Björnberg came free, but Jan-Olof Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ifk Kålltorp booed when Skarsåsen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Bohlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Ove Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Nordström having to interfere. Jan-Olof Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hyllos Pezos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Jerry Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jan-Olof Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Bock in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Lindholm in the 88th minute of play forced Ifk Kålltorp's goalkeeper Asopos Frangopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Ifk Kålltorp's Hyllos Pezos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Olof Nordström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Jerry Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jan-Olof Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ifk Kålltorp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
