The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Olof Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Berglund in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Mark Blixt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skarsåsen IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Gunners's Mark Blixt got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alfred Pålsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Wallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Pålsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Gunners fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The Gunners:s Dennis Wallin showed great skill when he stopped Elliot Stenqvist:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Skarsåsen IK's Elliot Stenqvist got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Benjamin Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25th play minutes Pontus Berglund shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jan-Olof Nordström and just under the crossbar into goal. When Benjamin Tunander came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the The Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Tunander couldn't finish the play. If Benjamin Tunander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Benjamin Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Tunander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Olof Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Olof Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Tunander in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Tunander in the 35th minute of play forced Skarsåsen IK's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Skarsåsen IK defense, Pontus Berglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Olof Nordström. The Skarsåsen IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Olof Nordström should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Skarsåsen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Berglund came free, but Jan-Olof Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gunners's Dennis Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save The Gunners from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Mats Lindholm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Benjamin Tunander sped through Skarsåsen IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Olof Nordström. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Tunander made a kick off. Benjamin Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jan-Olof Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skarsåsen IK's Jan-Olof Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Skarsåsen IK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Benjamin Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Tunander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 72nd match minute, Skarsåsen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Falk to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Olof Nordström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pontus Berglund's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Mats Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Skarsåsen IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Lindholm couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, The Gunners's Pontus Berglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Olof Nordström. Jan-Olof Nordström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When the final whistle sounded The Gunners left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skarsåsen IK.
