Eddie Låsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Fanström having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Uno Fanström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sune Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Olenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Christer Rosin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Carl Olenberg made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sjunkamossa FC's Sune Danielsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eddie Låsberg kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Örbyhus's keeper Uno Fanström was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 23 minutes, Eddie Låsberg made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Örbyhus's Uno Fanström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Vinström during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sjunkamossa FC's Magne Vinström got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 29 played minutes, Örbyhus's Jan-Åke Arvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sune Danielsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Örbyhus reached it. Carl Olenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Örbyhus's Uno Fanström got control of the ball when Eddie Låsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Örbyhus got a freekick which was hit by Sten Törnkvist. Carl Olenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carl Olenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sjunkamossa FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Christer Rosin hit a great ball. Sjunkamossa FC's Sune Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Karlsson in the 43rd minute of play. Sune Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Per-Olof Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Vase was the one to do the kick off. Eddie Låsberg scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uno Fanström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Vase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Fanström having to interfere. Eddie Låsberg struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Uno Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjunkamossa FC. Uno Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Låsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Jan-Åke Arvidsson in the 72nd minute really tested Sune Danielsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 73 played minutes Örbyhus got a freekick which was hit by Holger Drake. 78 minutes into the game, Örbyhus's Per-Olof Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sune Danielsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Carl Olenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sune Danielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Philip Fernström kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Bertil Hellsing made a great header on Sjunkamossa FC's corner, it was just that Örbyhus's Uno Fanström managed to reach the ball for a save. Per-Olof Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
