Carl Olenberg struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jesper Garvetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örbyhus. When Örbyhus's Carl Olenberg in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NY Rangers's goalie prevented a goal. Jesper Garvetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Olenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jesper Garvetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uno Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Bennet in the 50th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Olenberg to make the kick off. Carl Olenberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesper Garvetti came out and tried to block the shot, but Carl Olenberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. Jesper Garvetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Olenberg's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Andy Soned recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Soned in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Per-Olof Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uno Fanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Bennet's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Örbyhus's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Bennet came free, but Uno Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Fanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Soned, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Örbyhus's Carl Olenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesper Garvetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Örbyhus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NY Rangers:s goal. Jesper Garvetti made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Per-Olof Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Leif Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Örbyhus had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
