Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5682, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jesper Garvetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Vase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Daniel Ahlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NY Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjunkamossa FC the free kick. In the 12th match minute, NY Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Ahlin to maneuver through the defense. Leif Bennet's late challenge caught a Sjunkamossa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Bennet helped the player get up and apologised. Leif Bennet kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes NY Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Ahlroht. When Sjunkamossa FC's Eddie Låsberg, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sjunkamossa FC. If Andy Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NY Rangers's Leif Bennet got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Olsman hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Jon Dalgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjunkamossa FC and the NY Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leif Bennet to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Leonardo Vase took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jesper Garvetti to make any attempt to save it. Jesper Garvetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Vase in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, NY Rangers's Sven-Ove Wiklund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by NY Rangers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredrik Lindblom lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in NY Rangers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Jesper Garvetti, was totally fooled by Sjunkamossa FC's Bertil Hellsing, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Alkvist during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sjunkamossa FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Otto Olofsson hit a great ball. Jens-Erik Markusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jesper Garvetti made a huge save. Jesper Garvetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Sjunkamossa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sjunkamossa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
