Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pontus Stolpe kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hajduk Split's goalkeeper Joseph Boklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Aron Skager fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 12th match minute, Grödinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Dahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Aron Skager recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 15 in the game by Aron Skager from a close distance when the talented Torgny Morat managed to make a qualified save. Grödinge's players were relieved. Hajduk Split's Joseph Boklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Stolpe in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hajduk Split's Petter Sigfridsson got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Aron Skager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torgny Morat. Grödinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Skager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Jespersson in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torgny Morat saved Grödinge from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Grödinge's zone, Aron Skager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Morat came out of the goal and Aron Skager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hajduk Split booed when Grödinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Dahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ture Ahlqvist sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Torgny Morat threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ture Ahlqvist this time. Rolf Jespersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Morat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Torgny Morat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rolf Jespersson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Rolf Jespersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Skager in the 58th minute of play forced Grödinge's goalkeeper Torgny Morat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Anton Utfal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, one of Hajduk Split:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hajduk Split. After a defensive mix-up in Hajduk Split's zone, Patrik Flinck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Boklund came out of the goal and Patrik Flinck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Skager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Torgny Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Petter Sigfridsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torgny Morat having to make a save.
