Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Strandwikens FC's Bengt Eriksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Per Pihlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Pihlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Per Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Olof Lang scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Njutångers BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Eriksson came free, but Fred Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Lang in the 12th minute of play forced Njutångers BK's goalkeeper Fred Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Pihlgren got free with Calle Lundin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Njutångers BK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Per Pihlgren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Eriksson in the 18th minute of play forced Njutångers BK's goalkeeper Fred Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Strandwikens FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Johan Hake hit a great ball. Fred Björkdahl came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Strandwikens FC's Johan Hake. But to his dismay, Johan Hake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jimmie Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Calle Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Strandwikens FC's Calle Lundin got control of the ball when Jimmie Odin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Hake hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmie Odin got free with Calle Lundin in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimmie Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Calle Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimmie Odin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Eriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Björkdahl came out and tried to block the shot, but Bengt Eriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Per Pihlgren struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Calle Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Njutångers BK. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfred Deckberg during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manfred Deckberg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Njutångers BK booed when Strandwikens FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, George Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njutångers BK's supporters rose to their feet, but George Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmie Odin might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calle Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmie Odin ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfred Deckberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Jimmie Odin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Johan Hake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Odin in the 76th minute of play forced Strandwikens FC's goalkeeper Calle Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Odin in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Jimmie Odin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Njutångers BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Odin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Njutångers BK had been in control for most of the match, Strandwikens FC still came away with the win.
