The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Cerocki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bo Hellqvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, FC Skåne's Linus Bremming made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Hellqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Linneryd defense, Daniel Cerocki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Hellqvist. The Linneryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Hellqvist should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Georg Örtendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Hellqvist. Linneryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Örtendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Bo Hellqvist made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Georg Örtendahl sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Linneryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. Henning Henriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bo Hellqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Henning Henriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Skåne's Bo Hellqvist threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henning Henriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bo Hellqvist made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Linus Bremming sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Daniel Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Cerocki made the kick off in the second half. Linneryd's Bo Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cerocki in the 53rd minute of play. Roy Hedberg lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Linneryd's attentive David Lööf managed to snatch the ball when Goðmundur Ingiþórsson made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game.
