The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bo Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Johnsson in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Krister Johnsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kvicksund's Bo Spets. Bo Spets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Spets having to interfere. The supporters of Kvicksund booed when Ludvika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sören Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludvika's Sören Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Lövskog in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kvicksund's Dan Hjeltman got a free kick in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rudolf Nordmark took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bo Spets to make any attempt to save it. Bo Spets was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krister Johnsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Calle Dalgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvicksund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 49 minutes, Thor Tham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ludvika and the Kvicksund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ludvika! Mattias Wester shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Calle Dalgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sören Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Krister Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Karl Bergfelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ludvika fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Sören Lindblom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calle Dalgren in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Kvicksund's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Wästerberg came free, but Bo Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kvicksund's Georg Knutsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Henry Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvicksund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kvicksund's Bo Spets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Wästerberg in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mathias Wästerberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Spets was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Calle Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kvicksund's Bo Spets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Vennerlund in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Ludvika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. Bo Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Johnsson in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kvicksund defense, Krister Johnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Spets. The Kvicksund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Spets should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Johnsson in the 98th minute of play forced Kvicksund's goalkeeper Bo Spets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Lindblom having to interfere. Many of Kvicksund's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kvicksund may have spent more time on the ball, but Ludvika were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
