The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Jernberg got free with Sakarias Stenström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torsten Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mårten Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakarias Stenström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Markus Arenberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Sakarias Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Arenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Hamberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Allan Hamberg hit a great ball. Lennart Jernberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Sakarias Stenström made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Håkan Pettersson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Olov Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Stenström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Jernberg in the 60th minute of play forced Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb's goalkeeper Sakarias Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakarias Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Jansson in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Markus Arenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Milly FC's players had a chance to rest. Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb's Sakarias Stenström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Jansson in the 68th minute of play. Sakarias Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sakarias Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Jansson in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viggo Fogel during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Fogel. In the 83rd minute of the match Markus Arenberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sakarias Stenström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Lennart Jernberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Von Skurks Fotbollsklubb's Sakarias Stenström. Sakarias Stenström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Markus Arenberg scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakarias Stenström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Milly FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
