Åsunden FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Dingle IFK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erling Billström hit a great ball. Elliot Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Hedström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliot Skräddare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Gustafsson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With 22 minutes on the clock, Charlie Blom commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 21st minute, one of Åsunden FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åsunden FF. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ulf Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dingle IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Skräddare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Hedström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Elliot Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Dingle IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Åsunden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Hedström came free, but Elliot Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pål Jonsson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Åsunden FF's Christian Ekblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ebelechukwu De Roeulx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Johan Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Hedström in the 68th minute of play forced Åsunden FF's goalkeeper Elliot Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Mårtensson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Anders Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dingle IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Hedström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Billström's late challenge caught a Åsunden FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Skräddare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anders Hedström's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Åsunden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Hedström came free, but Elliot Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Åsunden FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dingle IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
