In the 12th minute Robin Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Ove Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Östlund in the 15th minute. Mårten Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Heggert in the 17th minute of play. Charlie Östlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stig-Ove Ström made a huge save. Mårten Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Nyström in the 26th minute of play forced Milly FC's goalkeeper Mårten Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Fastesson charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Fastesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stig-Ove Ström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Jansson's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ivar Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, FC Snyggkex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Browald to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Östlund got free with Stig-Ove Ström in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC Snyggkex's Stig-Ove Ström got control of the ball when Charlie Östlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mårten Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Nyström in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Östlund to make the kick off. Ulf Heggert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mårten Backman made a huge save. After 57 played minutes FC Snyggkex got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Viberg. Stig-Ove Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Östlund in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Snyggkex's zone, Markus Arenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Ove Ström came out of the goal and Markus Arenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Charlie Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Ström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie Östlund in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mårten Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 88 minutes on the clock, Algot Isaksson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Milly FC! When Leonardo Telin fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milly FC's protests and gave Leonardo Telin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Leonardo Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Snyggkex's Robin Nyström got a free kick in the 97th minute. When Olov Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Milly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Jansson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Jansson in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Milly FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
