FC Böle Boulevard's Sven Grönberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Bollström in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Sjöman during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. Malte Giliusson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Östen Björkqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Malte Giliusson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Frank Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Böle Boulevard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Walmarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sven-Arne Offendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Björkqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 56th minute, Malte Giliusson made a precise shot to the right of Östen Björkqvist. IFK Göteborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sven Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Walmarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ralf Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malte Giliusson charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Giliusson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Böle Boulevard getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Malte Giliusson hit a great ball. When IFK Göteborg's Ralf Walmarsson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. IFK Göteborg's Östen Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Giliusson in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Walmarsson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Grönberg saved FC Böle Boulevard from getting behind. Sven Grönberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Walmarsson in the 89th minute of the match. During the 89th minute of the match Malte Giliusson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Malte Giliusson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th match minute, FC Böle Boulevard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Giliusson to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Edwin Bokelund in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Böle Boulevard's Andreas Lindqvist. Svante Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
