Kingriver FC's Sven Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Walroth in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Karl-Oskar Torsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Hedström was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Karl-Oskar Torsberg scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Hedström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Karl-Oskar Torsberg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flyinge's protests and gave Karl-Oskar Torsberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Flyinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Torsberg to maneuver through the defense. Simon Stålman held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 18th minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. Simon Stålman came free in the 34th minute and tried to tip the ball over Olof Ekeberg, but to the joy of Flyinge's supporters the ball went over. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Tom Vennerström with Fredrik Ahlroht as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Kingriver FC defense, Tony Walroth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Hedström. The Kingriver FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Hedström should have stopped the shot.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Walroth in the 51st minute of play forced Kingriver FC's goalkeeper Sven Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Hedström came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flyinge's Tony Walroth. But to his dismay, Tony Walroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tony Walroth took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sven Hedström to make any attempt to save it. Sven Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Walroth in the 63rd minute of play. Kingriver FC's Harry Granberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tom Vennerström in the 69 minute of the game. When Ola Runberg fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingriver FC's protests and gave Ola Runberg a yellow card for diving instead. Flyinge's Ian Söderkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kingriver FC. 75 minutes into the match, Kingriver FC's goalkeeper Sven Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Walroth. Tony Walroth struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sven Hedström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flyinge. When Karl-Oskar Torsberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Flyinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Oskar Torsberg couldn't finish the play. Börje Njurenius made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kingriver FC's Karl-Axel Olenberg. Tony Walroth struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sven Hedström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flyinge. Tony Walroth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven Hedström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Flyinge were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kingriver FC's much stronger midfield.
