Kalle Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hagström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Boström having to interfere. Sir United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Knut Holmgren scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Gustavsson, making the score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Fc Samba's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Henriksson came free, but Kalle Boström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Herman Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sir United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Fc Samba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Beckeman to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Hagström in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kalle Boström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes in the game, Knut Holmgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Gustavsson having to interfere. Herman Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 47 minutes, Jens-Ola Lönn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Samba and the Sir United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Herman Henriksson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Henriksson in the 53rd minute of play forced Fc Samba's goalkeeper Kalle Boström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Herman Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sir United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Boström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Knut Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sebastian Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Åke Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sir United FC's Fredric Hagström got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Knut Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Fc Samba got a freekick which was hit by Leo Deckbergh. Leo Deckbergh took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Gustavsson. Sebastian Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Fc Samba players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
