This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kalle Boström as he didn't even see the shot coming. Malcolm Mårtensson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kalle Boström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Malcolm Mårtensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Kalle Boström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hova IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! After having played for 26 minutes, Karl-Axel Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Samba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Deckbergh in the 29th minute of play forced Hova IF's goalkeeper Roy Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hova IF's Axel Asserlind got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Hova IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Deckbergh came free, but Roy Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knut Holmgren to make the kick off. Roy Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Holmgren in the 53rd minute of play. Axel Asserlind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Boström having to interfere. Hova IF's Axel Asserlind got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Ola Lönn's late challenge caught a Hova IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Samba's zone, Axel Asserlind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Boström came out of the goal and Axel Asserlind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Boström having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Hova IF's Malcolm Mårtensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kalle Boström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Hova IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
