Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hova IF's Henrik Målare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Malcolm Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Karl-Ove Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hova IF. Tomas Wallman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hova IF's Roy Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Sundberg in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Shen an Calhar getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Torgny Qvalfeldt hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Axel Asserlind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hova IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Asserlind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Karlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Sundberg in the 17th minute of play. Malcolm Mårtenssons short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Karl-Ove Karlsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, one of Hova IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hova IF. The referee gave Shen an Calhar a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harry Pettersson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hova IF's Roy Olofsson. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nyström in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Olofsson saved Hova IF from getting behind. Roy Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hova IF's Torgny Nyberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Shen an Calhar's Wilhelm Nyström got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hova IF defense, Torgny Qvalfeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Olofsson. The Hova IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Olofsson should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Thomas Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Shen an Calhar's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Mårtensson came free, but Karl-Ove Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Lidström made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Torgny Qvalfeldt immediately put the ball in play.

The wind increased when Thomas Sundberg made the kick off in the second half. When Thomas Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Shen an Calhar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Roy Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Nyström in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Shen an Calhar got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Sundberg. Axel Asserlind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torgny Qvalfeldt hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shen an Calhar's zone, Torgny Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Karlsson came out of the goal and Torgny Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilhelm Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Karl-Ove Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hova IF. After having played for 76 minutes, Axel Asserlind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hova IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Asserlind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Mårtensson took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Karlsson. Karl-Ove Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Sundberg in the 81st minute of play forced Hova IF's goalkeeper Roy Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Nyström charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Nyström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Wilhelm Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Axel Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Axel Asserlind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shen an Calhar's Wilhelm Nyström got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Wilhelm Nyström off the ground. A collision led to Shen an Calhar getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wilhelm Nyström hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Shen an Calhar were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Hova IF side.
