Karl-Oskar Torsberg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Karlsson. Karl-Ove Karlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Karl-Oskar Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flyinge's Olof Ekeberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Flyinge from getting a goal against them. If Thomas Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Sundberg to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Ian Söderkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Ove Karlsson. The goal made the score 0-2. Olof Ekeberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Nyström's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Olof Ekeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Thomas Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Ekeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Karlsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Shen an Calhar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Flyinge getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fredrik Ahlroht hit a great ball. If Thomas Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Ekeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nyström in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Nyström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Ekeberg was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flyinge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
