Spectators: 7436 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Helge Brogren kicked off to start the match. Charles Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Säfström in the 2nd minute of the match. Köpingebro's Charles Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Jonsson in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Thor Säfström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nils Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ludvika IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Helge Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thomas Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Brogren in the 28th minute of play. Nils Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Charles Valrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ludvika IF. 32 minutes into the match, Ludvika IF's Nils Jonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Valrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nils Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ludvika IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Jonsson couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Thor Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludvika IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Säfström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Valrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutger Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Jonsson was the one to do the kick off. Wiktor Finsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Ludvika IF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Björk. Rutger Sundin's late challenge caught a Ludvika IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutger Sundin helped the player get up and apologised. Rutger Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Nils Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Charles Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nils Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ludvika IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Jonsson couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, George Falkrans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ludvika IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köpingebro the free kick. A collision led to Ludvika IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. George Falkrans hit a great ball. Thor Säfström scored 1-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Valrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ludvika IF booed when Köpingebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nils Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute Thor Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvika IF were furious when George Bark was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 97th match minute, Köpingebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Finsberg to maneuver through the defense. Charles Valrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claes Helberg went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Ludvika IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
