Köpingebro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sixten Hääger 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Sixten Hääger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Köpingebro's Charles Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Hääger in the 16th minute of play. Helge Brogren struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gabriel Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köpingebro. Gabriel Beckström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Helge Brogren went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Köpingebro's Charles Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Hääger in the 24th minute of play. Charles Valrot made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Karl-Åke Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. Sixten Hääger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Valrot having to make a save. Sixten Hääger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Charles Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Beckström having to interfere. Sixten Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Köpingebro's zone, Sixten Hääger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Valrot came out of the goal and Sixten Hääger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Köpingebro got a freekick which was hit by Ola Sandwall. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixten Hääger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Äspered were awarded a corner. Paul Wahlnäs went to the cornerflag to take it. Charles Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Hääger in the 55th minute of play. Charles Valrot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Äspered's Sixten Hääger shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 86 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Holmgren notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Köpingebro's Charles Valrot. Charles Valrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Köpingebro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Äspered.
