Bad Blue Boys's Samuel Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Jonsson in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Jack Stenkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bad Blue Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bad Blue Boys's Vilhelm Grönlund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kurt Kihlman, made in the 32nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Lång in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Berg saved Ludvika IF from getting behind. Bengt Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Nils Lång had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Berg. Ludvika IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Lång was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thomas Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Lång in the 46th minute of play. Bad Blue Boys's Samuel Hallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Bad Blue Boys from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Jonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Bad Blue Boys's zone, Nils Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Hallgren came out of the goal and Nils Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Bad Blue Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Jonsson came free, but Samuel Hallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jack Stenkvist made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Berg. Ludvika IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Lång in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. George Bark kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
