Rune Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Sven-Erik Lilja struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jesper Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skottorp. Jesper Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 9 minutes, Per-Oskar Mogren made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hedared BK's Jesper Håkansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Skottorp booed when Hedared BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Mogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesper Håkansson was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Tobias Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skottorp's goalkeeper Arne Bolander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Birger Aronsson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hedared BK's protests and gave Birger Aronsson a yellow card for diving instead. Birger Aronsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jesper Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Mogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skottorp's Arne Bolander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Josefsson in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Hedared BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Lundgren came free, but Jesper Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Per-Oskar Mogren sped through Hedared BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesper Håkansson. 38 minutes into the game, Skottorp's Per-Oskar Mogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesper Håkansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verner Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Skottorp's Per-Oskar Mogren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tobias Busk came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Skottorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Busk couldn't finish the play. If Tobias Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Håkansson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Tillman got free with Jesper Håkansson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the game, John Borre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedared BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skottorp the free kick. After 57 played minutes Hedared BK got a freekick which was hit by John Borre. Per-Oskar Mogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute of the match Kennet Björnberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Bolander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hedared BK's Jesper Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Mogren in the 63rd minute of play. Jesper Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Kristian Lundgren sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, Skottorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Busk to maneuver through the defense. Birger Aronsson was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the Hedared BK defense, Kristian Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Håkansson. The Hedared BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Niclas Lagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Oskar Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Håkansson having to interfere. Hedared BK's Jesper Håkansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Hedared BK from getting a goal against them. If Sven-Erik Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Per-Oskar Mogren came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Skottorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Mogren couldn't finish the play. Skottorp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
