Tor Lundin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesper Håkansson. Hedared BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ronny Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Borre in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Hedared BK's Birger Aronsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Östman. With a little luck, Mejslarna IF's Peter Östman got control of the ball when Alfons Lundqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, John Borre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Östman. John Borre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 34th minute Verner Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Ersman in the 37th minute of the match. Peter Östman made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Birger Aronsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, Hedared BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Hedared BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Ersman came free, but Jesper Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Hasselqvist made the kick off in the second half. Peter Östman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Borre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Håkansson having to interfere. The throw-in from Tommy Eriksson in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mejslarna IF's Ronny Ersman. Jesper Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jan-Ove Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. If Tor Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Hedared BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Hasselqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Jesper Håkansson 68 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Birger Aronsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Peter Östman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronny Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Håkansson having to interfere. Ronny Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mejslarna IF's Ronny Ersman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tommy Eriksson in the 84 minute of the game. Jan-Ove Hasselqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jesper Håkansson made a huge save.
