Pål Valler charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Sparta Maximus booed when Hedared BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Valler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sparta Maximus's Mats Rolandsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Valler in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hedared BK defense, Timmy Damm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Sandberg. The Hedared BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Sandberg should have stopped the shot. When Pär Åberg fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sparta Maximus's protests and gave Pär Åberg a yellow card for diving instead. Pär Åberg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sparta Maximus's Mats Rolandsson got control of the ball when Alf Bergren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carl Rang charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 13th play minute Pål Valler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mats Rolandsson. 1-1. Carl Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lennart Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Åberg in the 19th minute of the match. Hedared BK's Lennart Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Åberg in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Hedared BK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Valler. Mats Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Valler in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Hedared BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anton Lund hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Hedared BK's Alf Bergren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Rolandsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Hedared BK's Alf Bergren got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Carl Rang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Stenström kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Timmy Damm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Carl Rang came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sparta Maximus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Rang couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Alf Bergren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Timmy Damm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lennart Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Alf Bergren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hedared BK's zone, Pär Åberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Sandberg came out of the goal and Pär Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Pål Valler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Rolandsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. If Pär Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hedared BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
