Thanks to some nice moves Urban Olsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Peter Östman however easily saved by the left post. When Otto Nilsson fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funtime FC's protests and gave Otto Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Otto Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tor Lundin to strike the kick off in the second half. Mejslarna IF's Peter Östman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Olsson in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hampus Vallman in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Östman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Otto Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mejslarna IF's Peter Östman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Sundberg in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Urban Olsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Östman. Mejslarna IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urban Olsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Olov Broman came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Funtime FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Broman couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play, Funtime FC's Hampus Vallman made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Funtime FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
