The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Kvist got free with Inge Falkrantz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Bergqvist in the 19th minute of play forced Holken's goalkeeper Inge Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Holken booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Strachan didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kennet Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Leeds United FC's Kennet Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Falkrantz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Elliott Levander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lidström in the 66th minute of the match. Holken's Inge Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Kvist in the 67th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Kennet Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Leeds United FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
