The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Sandared IK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Hellström. A collision led to Gällstad getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ingvar Groth hit a great ball. Aron Axelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Willig's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ingvar Groth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gällstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandared IK the free kick. Ingvar Groth kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Edwin Kilman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Axelsson. Gällstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Kilman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mårten Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Örjan Willig took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aron Axelsson to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Aron Axelsson managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Sandared IK's Edwin Kilman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aron Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Örjan Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandared IK's Edwin Kilman in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Örjan Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Axelsson having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Edwin Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Björn Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Gällstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Albom to maneuver through the defense. Aron Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Willig in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Edwin Kilman made a precise shot to the right of Aron Axelsson. Gällstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bengt-Åke Gustafsson hit a great ball. Edwin Kilman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Willig in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Edwin Kilman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällstad's Aron Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jörgen Trulsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mårten Westerstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Örjan Willig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällstad's Aron Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin Kilman struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aron Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandared IK. Gällstad's Aron Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Willig in the 94th minute of play. Aron Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Kilman in the 97th minute of the match. When Sandared IK's Örjan Willig in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gällstad's goalie prevented a goal.
