Zebastian Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Axelsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jonatan Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Alströmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Lingren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Axelsson having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Gällstad's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Stenkvist came free, but Aron Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Hansson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Gällstad got a freekick which was hit by Einar Hansson. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jonatan Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Alströmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Axelsson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Gällstad got a freekick which was hit by Robert Axelsson. Hans Lingren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Axelsson having to interfere. Ingvar Groth's late challenge caught a Vallvik IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Groth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Ingvar Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Hans Lingren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gällstad's Aron Axelsson. Aron Axelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans Lingren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zebastian Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aron Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zebastian Edström came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Vallvik IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Edström couldn't finish the play. Hans Lingren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aron Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Stenkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörgen Trulsson took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Aronsson. Gustav Aronsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Trulsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Pelle Albom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gällstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallvik IK the free kick. The supporters of Vallvik IK booed when Gällstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Albom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Gällstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Hans Lingren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vallvik IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ingvar Groth struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gustav Aronsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gällstad. The supporters of Gällstad booed when Vallvik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Lövskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Lingren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Axelsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gällstad's Pelle Albom got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Zebastian Edström scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Axelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Vallvik IK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ivar Lövskog hit a great ball. Hans Lingren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aron Axelsson made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Vallvik IK got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Westerstrand. Vallvik IK played a much better game than Gällstad and deserved their victory. The Gällstad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
