Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ove Willig kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Lingren in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Björkkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zebastian Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Österbybruk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vallvik IK:s goal. After 15 played minutes Österbybruk got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Ek. After having played for 19 minutes, Hans Lingren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallvik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Lingren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Johnny Bank mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Österbybruk and the Vallvik IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Johnny Bank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Björkkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lingren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Zebastian Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Björkkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Tommy Häll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Sigman charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fritz Sigman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fritz Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Österbybruk's Johnny Bank got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hans Lingren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Lingren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Björkkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Björkkvist came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vallvik IK's Hans Lingren. But to his dismay, Hans Lingren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Lingren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustav Aronsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Hamnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Hans Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hans Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Orvar Högberg fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Österbybruk's protests and gave Orvar Högberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Österbybruk got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Högberg. Vallvik IK's Fritz Sigman pulled a muscle in his back after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Häll during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Hans Lingren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Björkkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gustav Aronsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Hamnberg in the 70th minute of the match. Alex Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vincent Westerstrand was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, one of Vallvik IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gustav Aronsson had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Jakob Tidéksson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Ingmar Hamnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallvik IK's Gustav Aronsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Hans Lingren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallvik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Lingren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 97th minute of the match Tommy Häll completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tommy Häll a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Vallvik IK booed when Österbybruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Häll didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Vallvik IK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Österbybruk.
