Kevin Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alfons Brogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United Retards. In the 27th minute, Erland Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bälinge IF's goalkeeper Alfons Brogren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Gullesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Brogren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Flinck scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stellan Söderqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stellan Söderqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bälinge IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
