If Roy Flinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Roy Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bälinge IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Flinck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helsingborgs IF's Rune Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Helsingborgs IF got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Palmquist. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Roy Flinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Aleberg having to interfere. If Sven-Erik Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Aleberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Stenberg in the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Helsingborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Stenberg came free, but Jan Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Helsingborgs IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bälinge IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
