Örsundsbro FKad's Malcolm Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Christian Sjöström fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Himmelsblå's protests and gave Christian Sjöström a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Joachim Nyman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patric Ekrot scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 played minutes Örsundsbro FKad got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Ahlstedt. Joachim Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Wenerdahl in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Patric Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Nyberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Himmelsblå's Joachim Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Nyberg in the 53rd minute of play. Magne Dalkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Örsundsbro FKad fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Örsundsbro FKad's Malcolm Nyberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Malcolm Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Joachim Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Örsundsbro FKad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Himmelsblå the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Örsundsbro FKad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Nyberg to maneuver through the defense.
