The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conny Norberg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelos Talanger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Magne Dalkvist scored to the left of an out of position Hubert Termander, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Brodin in the 19th minute of play forced Angelos Talanger's goalkeeper Hubert Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Himmelsblå's Eskil Forssell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Termander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mathias Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Nyman having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Eskil Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Henrik Nordstedt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Hubert Termander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magne Dalkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vilhelm Snell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joachim Nyman. The goal made the score 2-1. Mathias Isaksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Nyman having to make a save. Angelos Talanger's Vilhelm Snell got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Angelos Talanger getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kristoffer Söderlund hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Himmelsblå's goalkeeper Joachim Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Isaksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Dalkvist in the 70th minute of play forced Angelos Talanger's goalkeeper Hubert Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Isaksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joachim Nyman could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrik Nordstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joachim Nyman. That made the score 2-2 in the 77 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Angelos Talanger's zone, Magne Dalkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Termander came out of the goal and Magne Dalkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Vilhelm Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelos Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th play minute Mathias Isaksson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joachim Nyman. 2-3. Angelos Talanger's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
